Our mission
Amara combines heritage fermentation with modern microbial science to develop fermented medical foods for gut and metabolic health. Our multi-kingdom approach brings together plant ingredients and their naturally occurring microbial communities to create complex biochemical matrices with multiple pathways to address gut dysbiosis and support the gut ecosystem as well as metabolic health.
